I don’t have much to say actually, it’s better if you find out for yourself. This is new to me, just discovered this guy on myspace and noticed valerie posted about him. He’s been remixing both Data and Grum, two heavy producers. But it’s his own material that will blow your mind. Straight from Leeds comes electronic dance music anno 2008, with one foot in the nostalgic 80s sound and the other in the modern electroscene. I’d describe it as Fear of Tigers vs Rex the Dog. This is Edwin Van Cleef! You have to feel it. The track I Want You is sure to be heating the dance floors in 2009. Download these fresh mp3s and find out, then visit his myspace and discover his other stuff.Posted by Tobias on Dec.30, 2008 1 Comment
in case you missed the Masters Of The Universe compilation brought to you by Sakura Night this is the time to check it out. I’ve been going through these albums over and over the last week. I come to think about how this 80’s revolution has grown these last two years, and it makes me so happy to see how we all share this passion. And I just want to thank Sakura Night and all the producers out there for keeping the revolution alive.Basicly all the electronic producers we’ve learned to love the last two years are all part of this. Together they’ve created five magical volumes so far. You need them, whether you’d like to drive your car fast, have a burger in 80’s Miami or just dance your ass off. I’ve made a few selections for download here.
Sakura Night - Fast Car
Los Electricos - At Home In Exile
Master Control - 80s Miami
Le Castle Vania - Trouble In Daylight feat. Factory Aire (extended)The thing is, Sakura Night gives you the five volumes for free. HERE.

2008 is running towards an end. So I thought I’d just round things up by presenting you with some of the sounds that inspired us this year. With so many new producers, artists and bands it’s kinda difficult. However, the chioces we made I guess you can say describes deathelectro in a nut shell.
I started this blog because of the passion for electronic music, the 80’s and all that fits between. It was a fun thing. It grew kinda big right away, something I wasn’t expecting. Hopefully well go even further. We’re planning to open up a club in Gothenburg in 2009, aiming for february. We’re very excited about that and we hope it works out well.
We’d like to thank all the artists who helped and appreciated us. Also, if you’re a reader of this blog, we’d like to thank you and wish you all a merry christmas!
College - She never Came Back
Parallels - Reservoir (Demo)
Anoraak - Nightdrive With You
Sebastien Telliér - Divine (Danger Remix)I’m looking forward to a fresh 2009. It’s gonna be a year full of new electronic music. Happy new year!

Have you ever been listening to either a mixtape or a liveset like crazy, but only recognized one or two tracks at most and you want to know all the tracks the set contains? If my guessing is correct, some of you readers should know of what I’m saying and know the frustration of it.
In my case, I’ve been listening like a mad dog to Grum’s liveset @ Trashbags (See Trashbags blog for that one, great set I highly recommend). In that mix, I could only identify his remix of Armand Van Helden and his two own tracks “Go Back” and “Whoa”. But last night after doing some research (and some random luck), I uncovered some more tracks that the mix contains!First of is the fourth track in the mix that really made me go nuts is none other than our favourite La Roux that we posted about before, but now remixed by AutoKratz. Imagine my suprise when I was shopping at Beatport last night and went throu the Nu-disco charts and hit it on random and found out it was THE track! I kinda feel dumb afterwards, since I should have recognized it. I can just say in my defense that I can’t do it all. I won’t be posting this track though, since Kitsune have a tendency not liking their releases up mp3-blogs. What I can do is to post the song streaming from a youtube-video. And if you like it and want it in high quality, then you can always buy it at Beatport for example.
La Roux - Quicksand (AutoKratz Drags To Riches Mix)
Later in the mix, we have two tracks from Beens that appear, “Rotor” and “Rebels”. At first I can say I didn’t dig those very much, but after listening to the liveset around fifty times only on my mp3-player(!), I can say the opposite now since they have grown on me.
The last discovery I made was Charlie Fanclub and his song “Ethan” that came near the ending of the liveset. I can only guess that when this track was dropped, people went crazy since it’s such a playful track that tells you one thing; “DANCE NOW!”
This is what I had for the moment and as always I hope you liked it. And if you happen to listen to Grum’s liveset someday and can identify some more tracks, don’t hesitate to drop a comment and tell me. But I have a hunch that most of the tracks left are his own unreleased tracks & remixes. Anyway, don’t forget to show La Roux/AutoKratz/Beens/Charlie Fanclub and lastly Grum some sweet love on their myspaces!
Namaste,

now this is fresh out of the oven, and there will be no leftovers. This is ear candy. And there’s plenty for everyone. Max aka Jean-Tube, a french producer who’s been making electronic music for about two years now, is taking it to next level by starting his first serious project. Born in 1985 (same as me) , he has that passion for the 80’s that is undescribeable. You just missed it, but somehow it stuck to your heart.Maybe it’s a good thing, cause if you would have lived the 80’s fully all that magic might not have been there. I don’t know.
This guy mixes old school 80’s sounds in with pure fresh electro beats. And belive me, it sounds good. The track Jeanrêve is the typical laid back getting ready for action, movie anthem. And then it explodes, with Jeanprince. A track that will be playing on repeat in my playlist in the future. Download and listen to the wonderful sounds of Jean-Tube.
Jean-Tube - Jeanrêve
Jean-Tube - jeanprinceMax is working hard, getting ready to perform his djsets live. Aiming for spring of 2009. We will be here to support him. I hope you will too. Visit his myspace and show him all the love he deserves.

I love it when people outside of Sweden discover the greatness of The Tough Alliance. Being My favourite band ever coming from this country. These guys are really good producers and they’ve come up with their own unique sound. Think electronic pop and mix it up with sweet new wave disco and you got Henning Fürst and Eric Berglund aka The Tough Alliance. If you ask me, they are the next big export in Swedish music.
Anyway, the track Neo Violence (taken off their 2007 release A new Chance) just got remixed by Australian producer Shazam. You definately have to check it out. This remix will get you going while you wait for new material from TTA.The Tough Alliance - Neo Violence (Shazam Remix)

and we’re cruisin’ like in the 80’s. Like in Rad Racer, on a deserted highway with lights passing by. Ahead of you is the city silhouette, and you think about how nice the wind in your hair feels. Maybe your thoughts are filled with vengeance, with love, or with happiness. Maybe you’re just waiting for a burger stop so you can grab that burger. Awkoder 89 does this with style, 80’s style. Making cruising music with beautiful synths and monotome basslines. Meet you is to me an anthem to the era I’m talking about. Download these fresh 320 mp3s and find out for yourself!Awkoder 89 - Meet You
Awkoder 89 - Feeling Love

Keep on cruisin’!

On Heads we Dance, three different tracks, three different remix-producers with three different types of sounds. Let’s get into it!First out we have the Barcelona producer Sidechains remix on The Human Touch that was featured on the single for this track and this one is a beauty! It opens up with an orchestra that builds itself to epic proportions and goes over to the typical sound of Sidechains; Vocoded vocals, heavy basslines and musical atmosphere that can only remind you of joy & happiness. I can see for myself that this remix is a great track to open a dj-set with!
Heads we Dance - The Human Touch (Sidechains Remix)
Next out is Harris Robotis and his remix on You Are Never Alone With Model 21. And as the remix name for this one (Harris Robotis 1981 Remix), it suggests he’s trying to make a tribute to the soundpattern from the year 80’s disco/synthpop-ish sound and that he does with ease, in my opinion.
But the thing with this one that really put a smile on my face, is that the vocals mixed with Harris Robotis sound got me thinking of the synthpop legends Erasure and that’s a compliment coming from me!Heads we Dance - You Are Never Alone With Model 21 (Harris Robotis 1981 Remix)
Last out is the remix of Love in the Digital Age remixed by none other than Tepr. And as always, his remixes turn into a banger and this remix is not an exception! And I have to admit, I feel so enchanted everytime I listen to this track when the lyrics come in, it makes me want to sing-a-long!
Sadly, it’s impossible to find this track in high-quality, so just bare with it.Heads we Dance - Love in the Digital Age (Tepr Remix)
This is all I had for todays post and I hope that you enjoyed it.
Don’t forget to express your love to Heads We Dance/Sidechains/Harris Robotis/Tepr!Namaste,
