If I only had a penny for every The Sounds remix I find in my email.. No One Sleeps When I’m Awake seems to be a hot topic nowadays, and the last remix I featured was the brilliant one by VIKING. This latest edition is a bouncy late summer vibe remix done by Chicago based La Dolce Vita that truly deserves it’s own post. The jumpy synths and the beautiful chopping really takes Majas vocals to another dimension, and damn, I think this is my favourite so far. Enjoy it first on Dödselectro!

Anyone else but me who can instantly become obsessed with dancefloor-breakbeat-bangers signed Ed Bangers beloved sebastiAn, but have been waiting for quite some time to hear something new? Well, for those of you, this will cheer you up since I have gotten in contact with his unknown prodigies all the way from California! We at Dödselectro proudly presents: LBCK! short for Long Beach City Kids.

I don’t know how long they have been active in the scene or so, but as you can clearly hear these guys know what they are doing. “gIALLO” is the name of the track (Which is taken from the compilation “Bass Theft Auto Vol. 2″ which will be released September 17th) and it’s just a must for you people to hear. Get hooked!

I don’t know if the tracks name is supposed to be a tribute to the italian horrormovie-scene that legends like Dario Argento and friends are strong symbols in, you’ll definitely pee your pants hearing that bass though.
Anyway, keep an eye out for the compilation “Bass Theft Auto Vol. 2″ to be released to get this and many other tracks in full quality while showing your support! And of course; Drop by LBCK’s myspace to get updated on when they got some new releases to be released or just might hit your town for an awesome show!

John Bourke of Trash Yourself sent us some sweet remixes that needs to be put up! If you haven’t heard him solo you’re probably expecting more trash grindin’ bangers when you read this. Actually though, the solo John shows us his skills in making bouncy electro disco tracks, perfect for the dance floor! For starters let me just hype his brilliant remix of Death Metal Disco Scene track ‘21′, a genius dreamy take that really give the vocals more power and more feeling. Also I give you remixes of ‘As One’ by Titus1 and of French Horn Rebellion’s ‘Up All Night’ and really I could go on hyping all of these remixes, they’re all awesome. But i think it’s better if you just press play and y’all tell me your feelings instead!

discodust introduced us to the wonderful Russ Chimes remix of Frankmusiks ‘Confusion Girl’ a while ago and I meant to post it here sooner but you know how it is. I’ve had this on repeat for the last week or so. What we have here is a golden masterpiece! and it’s totally insane it wasn’t officially released on the single, it’s that good and Frankmusik agrees.

Never before have I heard so many different layers of synths sound so good together. Blows me away everytime.

French youngster Deluce is preparing his debut EP entitled ‘Stage 1′ at the moment. It will drop late september or early october and contain two original tracks along with remixes by Mille, Awkoder’89 and Neo Tokyo among others. Great lineup right there, I’m looking forward to it. I do have two fresh adventurous space exploring tracks for you all right here right now though. Deluce really knows how to produce breathtaking emotional melodies that sticks and ‘Lionsheart’ and ‘Into a Cloud’ are no exception, both really chill tracks with that epic heroic feel to them.

I’ve featured The Girls Can Hear Us! before here on dödselectro and I got two reasons to feature them again. It seems ed and will are quite busy, spitting new tunes out almost every week, and they clearly get influenced by a variety of genres. I like it, every track has something new and it seems they are getting closer to mastering their future sound. ‘All I know’ is an arpeggio driven space ballad with an epic feel to it, listen and download it here but for the full experience head over to youtube and watch the tron video, awesome.

Johannes of Owl Vision, who helped us kickstart the club in Gothenburg, just hit us up with a mail about his new EP titled Darkness. Quite well chosen name as we’ve previously referred to his music as dark. If you dig Owl Vision, you know what’s heading your way - dark deep bass and deadly synths, and this EP is no exception. It consists of the title track Darkness aswell as a remix by Owl Vision himself, one by Distrakt and one killer remix by Vektorkat.
