Leeds, UK. The city where a lot of magic happens these days. Take GRUM and Edwin Van Cleef for an example, two emerging artists that we’ve featured here at Dödselectro several times. Not to talk about the explosion of Heads We Dance! who released their debut album Love Technology earlier this year.
Heads We Dance has been been blessed with countless and countless of remixes that have blown us away. The Russ Chimes remix of Sirens for example, which was included on the Sirens EP, it’s just solid gold!
Because of that, they figured it’s really obvious that they should release a remix album to spread ‘em even more. So, on september 28 they will drop this album called Dance Technology, and during a limited time, it will be available as a free download from their website! And there are a lot of reasons to keep a look out! the album will contain remixes signed Don Diablo, Tepr, Sidechains, Louis La Roche, Frankmusik and more!
Another remix included is Justin Fausts remix of Model 21, and I can only agree with Pete of Heads We Dance; It’s Ace!

Remember, september 28! free for a limited amount of time, after a while it’ll be released through various sites like Itunes, Juno Download etc for a cheap buck. We are really looking forward to this release. Now don’t you dare forget to show Heads We Dance and Justin Faust a lot of myspace love!
Istanbul boys Gooseflesh has been picked up by Boxon Records, big moves and rightfully deserved as these guys keep dropping monster tracks and remixes. Still Wild proves exactly what the title says, and this club anthem shows that Gooseflesh are taking their mash of genres further and further. Now, freshly Boxon signed, I think we can expect big from these guys with all the future holds! Still Wild drops at Beatport 14/9, but here are two 128 kbs tracks for you.

Additionally, Azzido Da Bass recently dropped the latest banger I Want U featuring vocals by Digitalism singer Jence. The release contains a brilliant remix by Jence himself, and one by featured Gooseflesh. A really solid release perfect for the clubs, pick it up at beatport through Coco Machete.

Stereoheroes tracks seems to be essential in every dj’s case nowadays and I think this latest addition from them feat Mic Terror will surely cause some ruckus out in the clubs. Cheesy rap or not, You can bet your ass on people will sing along. Juke Dem Hoes.

In less than a month, the golden boy of the electro-scen Boys Noize will be dropping his second album called Power on his own label Boys Noize Records. After hearing his latest single releases Jefferand Waves (feat. Erol Alkon), you can clearly hear that the new sound is a bit more experimental, but he can still deliver tracks that will turn any dancefloor totally wild. We here at Deathelectro.com are deadexcited about this release, if you haven’t decided then listen to this album-preview:
And to promote this coming album even more, our buddy (and the awesome producer) IllStM have remixed his track Kontact Me. I wont add more than the clear fact that this remix is brilliant, enjoy it in 320kpbs and let it blast your speakers!

If you give this remix (like me) your two thumbs up, then please tell IllStM on his myspace. And don’t forget: 26/09/09 is the date Boys Noize album Power will drop, make sure to mark that in your calender!
And this is funny. Just got this link from Tobias of how the fans thought the artwork for new album would look like, hilarious!
Add this song to your heart. This simple yet complicated request is put forth by the ever-changing Icelandic electro powerhouse Gus Gus on their first single from the highly anticipated album “24/7” out on Kompakt later this month. Recorded live within a circle of mountains in the west of Iceland “Add This Song” drags you in with warm vocals and an enthralling beat that just doesn’t let go.
Since this is my first post for dödselectro, introductions are in order, my name is Rúnar, a 21 year old Icelandic economics student with a fiery passion for electro music! Hope you’ll enjoy my posts as much as I enjoy writing about the tracks that make me move.
Matthew BURNS, a 23 year old from Brighton has been reaping havoc across the blogosphere for months now, belting out EP’s and remixes alike. Every track he releases seems to strike a different chord, from gritty dancfloor banger TURBO to the smooth funky melody of heartbeats, BURNS is as diverse as they come.
This video featuring scenes from the Warriors synced up to the beats of BURNS new single teknique simply oozes style.
Canadian dance floor destroyers Jokers Of The Scene inflicted their distorted best on BURNS sophomore release TURBO and the result is a bassline perfect for moving mountains and people alike.

Once again Edwin van Cleef proves why he’s one of our favorite producers in the modern disco scene. This remix is already hyped among us, ever since we heard it in his live set at the dödselectro party we’ve been all over him begging him to give it to us. What’s sad is it needed to be cleared first, since Solange Knowles managment didn’t want it. In a better world that sales dude in armani would’ve raised it to the skies and release this officially god damn it. Luckily there are guys like us, with the right, yet expensive taste that know better than to not premiere one of the best tracks we heard all year.
