First time we heard of Mikey Mic, we fell in love with his style taking on hip-hop tracks and making them into dancefloor-fillers that just screams BANGER. And now he’s back, even stronger than last time we featured him. This time Pharoahe Monche have been honored being remixed by him, and man: this shit will hit you hard! Electro pop act Fenech Soler are truly living up to the ‘next big thing’ hype and they got my full attention, lovin this track.

Lies is released on Moda Music on 2nd November, with a 12” vinyl edition out 26th October. Along with remixes by Alex Metric and freshly Moda signed Tom Staar. To make this post more awesome I have a remix from Phantom’s Revenge for y’all, we all now by now that he never disappoints when working his french filter disco skills. This is a floor filler indeed. Binary founders Kyle Petersen and Josh Legg’s summer night heat packed project NightWaves have delieverd one hell of a heartbraker called ‘fascination’ and it’s just pure satisfaction. Like Marina & the Diamonds is the saviour of stylish danceable new wave pop, Mille is of bringing back the c 64 in a way nobody thought possible. With furious synth crescendos and arpeggios that draws your mind to the brilliant Yngvie Malmsten, Mille has truly taken modern dance music to the next level. Surely this combo was waiting to be done, cause when I hear shimmering diamond Marina and commodore sidechaining Mille together I can’t help to think that these guys should write songs together as well. Here you go, epic 320 of one of the best tracks of the year.
