Besides showing Gothenburg how to tear dem dance floors apart, Fredrick Carlsson keeps throwing brilliant remixes our way. PNAU’s magnificent track ‘Embrace’ featuring Ladyhawke on vox still gets me going and especially when hearing this golden neon disco treasure crafted by our fellow swede. Kap10kurt already added it to his set, so did we and so will everybody else so count on hearing this baby out in the clubs. Still, I think Fredricks disco should be worked on a summery sunlit meadow.

B-xentric is once again back in the house! Since some time ago, he’s been releasing mixtapes via his Facebook-fanpage and the project-name for those mixtapes have been ‘Heat’. So far, he’s managed to get out four mixes via this method and I would be joking if I said I didn’t enjoy any of those. What’s been really significant for those is that they are fully packed with fresh hot material from some of the biggest names in the scene mixed together in total smothness.

For more than a week now, our email has been quite empty. We were kinda confused about that, since before that we had around 30 mails daily in our inflow with music-inquires. Anyway, to cut a long story short; Our mail-server was clogged and Tobias sorted it out last night. So just to point out; if you have sent anything the last week that requires our attention, please resend!

And with that problem fixed, we got just got an email from Monsieur Adi about his upcoming EP We are the Romans. I know by his alias he might seem French, but he’s actually from Italy. But one thing is for sure; his music reminds increadibly of the French sound. By just hearing the track that we have been allowed to share (which is the title track of the coming EP), you can clearly hear that he’s been highly influenced by Daft Punk and the Ed Banger style, but adding his own flavours and making it to his own. So please readers, do as we do; add him to your “To-watch”-list and enjoy the track We are the Romans!

Okey okey. Enough, meant to post this months ago. discodust introduced me to Kiss In Cities and their song ‘U R My Girl’ back then. And ever since I’ve been having their 80’s cyndi lauper flavoured cocteau twins like synth pop explosion on repeat. I finally came to my senses when they uploaded this world class video of another track on their myspace called ‘Colours’ and once again I’m just struck by the originality of these guys. This is as real as it gets and i fucking love it. Kiss In Cities are definitly the hottest and coolest in pop right now. And here you go, a little late but never too late. Enjoy.

Following the beast of a single ‘One in a Million’ from the massive debut album ‘Skywriter’ DatA now releases ‘Electric Fever’ on december 7th through Ekler’o’shock. A little surprised by the choice of track, there are far more bigger tunes on the album but hey, ‘Electric Fever’ is great and this cover art is the bomb. The EP features remixes from Munk, Idiotproof and Acidwashed.

This way, I discovered the brilliance of the french act Acid Washed who totally got me enchanted with their mesmerizing synthesizer melodies and laid back cowbell ringin’ bongo percussions. Here is their DatA remix and a track called ‘General Motors, Detroit, America’ which is just brilliant and supposedly from their debut EP which I haven’t found a way to actually buy . Hear them out and then definitly go listen to their track ‘Acid Washed’ on their myspace, it’s awesome.
