One of the nicest guys I learned to know this year, Benjamin Berry, known better as Fear of Tigers is getting ready to release his debut album on December 1st. It’s called ‘Cossus-Snufsigalonica’ and will contain ten tracks. He’s giving it to you for free. Now, I’m raising my eyebrows looking for all you label people out there. Don’t sleep on this guy, the love and originality in Fear of Tigers productions can’t be found nowhere else. It’s a mystery to me this album is handed out for free. Still, i know that this way, it’ll be embraced by more.

Big moves, big love. The day has finally arrived when Edwin van Cleef is releasing his debut EP ‘Overtaken’, handed by the fist of ‘Space Disco’, a label run by mr Cleef himself. Now you’ve probably heard ‘Overtaken’ before as it’s been posted by many blogs and played by Jaymo and Andy George on radio 1. But this version has been reworked and mastered which means it’s even more crisp and massive than before.
Backed up by remixes from Neo Tokyo, FM Attack and Dödselectro homeboy Mille, whos remix is already loved and hyped out there since it has been featured in some mixtapes floating around.

One of the true gems on there is the work of bad boys in Jungle Fiction who teamed up with Vyle and created one hell of a block rocking beat! A remix of ‘Boy U Know’ that makes me wonder if the Steed Lord / Jungle Fiction combo might just actually be the coolest shit ever coming out of Iceland. I think every single soul who attended the last club night can’t argue with me when I say that we Deathelectro Dj’s and Futurecop! blew the fucking roof! It was literally an insane night, especially during the last hour when people were at every possible place in the venue going apeshit!

I’m 10 years old , sitting at the school disco all cramped up in the darkest corner with a steady grip around my coke sucking on a sour patch. Sitting, in silence diggin the grooves, to afraid to take that floor or even look at that girl i have a crush on. The Buffetlibre remix of Dragonettes ‘Easy’ just takes me way back there, to the good old innocent times. The amazing synth works accompanied by the driving bassline and wonderful retro flavoured vocals just makes my heart skip one.
