There is no doubt, Le Matos made one hell of a remix here. The heaven descent vocals of Coeur De Pirate and the wonderful synth works of Canadas finest became an insta classic when I first heard it. This collab was meant to be and this remix will never grow old, pure gold and a well deserved 1st pick. I said it back then, and I’ll say it again, more Le Matos feat Coeur de Pirate PLEASE.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Russ Chimes turned Frankmusiks ‘Confusion Girl’ into a shimmering synth explosion with layers and layers of extasy. Who doesn’t love this seriously? A magnificent track and a killer in the clubs. Question still stands, why wasn’t this chosen to be released?Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. Marina and the Diamonds said - “This is the best remix anyone has ever made for me” and I think we all agree, it’s simply off the hook! Swedish diamond Mille has shown everybody out there what he is capable of, debuting with his ‘Crysteena’ 12″ in january. 2010 is his year.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. A really strong moment of 2009. Edwin van Cleefs remix of ProCons ‘Delia’. It’s a mindblowing outer space experience, the melancholic synth work, the driving pulsating bassline, vocoder heaven. Simply awesome, and a mystery to me only Valerie and Dödselectro posted this before. A random guy named Magnus commented on this last time I posted it saying - “OMFG! inject Delia Remix into my blood.” I couldn’t agree more.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Grum has had a really busy year, throwing remixes out left and right. Heartbeats was released recently and things are really just looking up for this dude. One of his strongest moments in 2009 is definitly this Passion Pit remix. With stunning tekniques he brings the vocals to their peak accompanied by the typical grum bassline. The build and the drop makes this one of our weapons of choice this year.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. Diamond Cut came out of nowhere in 2009, hitting it big with a bunch of classy remixes. His interpretation of Cinnamon Chasers ‘I Like Watching You’ is a milestone in the art of sythesizer magic. This guy is truly a wizard at work and I’m really looking forward to what Diamond Cut will present in 2010.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Alex Metric is known to drop essential club tracks. Dj’s can’t live without him, the blogs love him and we.. well we could have picked any remix from this dude, as they all are top notch. Strongest one that really expresses the power of Alex Metric though is his Bloc Party remix. It contains some epic builds and drops and it will burn any roof out there. Just turn the volume up and let this baby loose.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. We’ve seen a lot of Bag Raiders remixes out there this year. There are many ace ones not to speak of the originals as well. This one right here though is right up our alley, the ‘Turbo Love’ remix from Light Year is a funky disco blast that has rocked our parties and our pants, but gotten too little attention on the webs. A Worthy selection.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Californian Algeronics stunned us and the whole blog world out there with this UNOFFICIAL remix of Daft Punk’s ‘Digital Love’. I still find myself listening to it over and over just to discover how the hell this dude made a remix better than the original. Clearly though, it’s just brilliant and Algeronics got some mad skills!Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. Picking a favourite Designer Drugs remix of the year is not easy, dudes are at the top of the game. When it comes down to it though, their remix of Annies ‘Anthonio’ is pretty damn epic. Fell in love from the first listen and we all here find it the strongest one released by these beasts in 2009. This could well be an original. A clean pick! To finish this list off.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. One of the guys who helped make Dödselectro into what it is today is Fear of Tigers, dude’s not a secret no more and you should be ashamed if you don’t know of him by now. He recently released his debut album ‘cossus snufsigalonica’ and if you’re with me you know that it’s one of the best albums of 2010. Grab it here if you haven’t, it’s free!Building bridges eventually makes all ends meet. Like this post right here, where we fit in parts of the family that has been essential to us in 2009. Besides Fear of Tigers we once again hear from Mille that doesn’t need an introduction by now. We all know he is fucking beast. His own blend of ‘Sirkka’ is a synth orgie on a space shuttle during lift off where the universe is the limit. French duo Human Contact makes a heroic return with their wonderful full frontal disco version of ‘Adventures of Pippi Longstrump’ that blew me away, it differs a lot from their recent nu-rave tech sounds and my respect for these guys just increased. Simply amazing. I’m also introducing yet a norweigan called The Clean Shaven Grins, who with his slow building 8 minute electronica experiment makes your mind wander some place beautiful. So much love given right here, make sure you pay them back.

Now, don’t hustle. Cause a rather epic remix from Mr. Tigers himself is about to make this christmas present complete. And fear not, cause this take on the almighty Visage (pictured above) song ‘Fade To Grey’ is about to take your synthesizer heart into space and beyond and leave you all warm and fuzzy inside. Once again Fear of Tigers reminds me of why he is one of my favourite producers. Amazing..

Posted by Tobias on Dec.24, 2009 13 CommentsJust got sent a fresh new track from the boys of Munn Til Munn Metoden. After hearing this track for the first time, i just frothed out something chronic. Their kind of electro is something unique, i cant really tell you who they sound like because this sound is something different, in a good way! Producers in the electro scene around the world need to stand out at times like these, and Munn til Munn Metoden really catch the listeners attention and get them hyped up! Loving the Orchestra flavours in this. Avante Electro is a tune which definitly can make these guys a name within the electro scene. Cant wait to hear more from them.

These guys from Norway have recently completed a Remix EP with all their remix and reworks, and are now looking into the future. The only way from here is up. So watch out for these producing masters as they could be dominating clubs close to you!
Show them some love on their myspace.Posted by Tobias on Dec.23, 2009 4 Comments
We can never get enough Sound of Arrows or Mille on this blog. So when I’m given permisson to post the most shiny gem to have come out of Sweden in 2010, I don’t sleep. Having made and posted an awesome video before of this collab I now give you the 320 kbs mp3. Mille takes on Sound of Arrows ‘Into The Clouds’ which could well be the most hyped pop song on the net this year. The result is a monster shredding commodore dance fairytale that just won’t let go. Hence, the favourite collab of the year. Consider this an early christmas present.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Big things are cooking for both these acts in 2010 so keeps your eyes open for more gold. Show them the love they deserve on their myspaces! Also, look forward to a top 10 remixes of the year post hitting Dödselectro shortly.
Posted by Tobias on Dec.19, 2009 7 CommentsTapeDeckBros has just emailed me and have sent me their new production. Hailing from Canada, these 2 guys are starting to get the attention they deserve. In ‘Dance Of The Dead’, they have a ‘wind up’ to a massive drop which can get the crowd going crazy! When i started listening to ‘Dance Of The Dead’, it reminded me of Le Castle Vania and a bit of Haezer, but throughout the song, it showed me how unique this sound really is. With their catchy beats and their ‘dirty’ synths and playful sounds, they can crush the dance floor and make a mark in the electro scene all around the world. Keep an eye out for these guys in the future!

Posted by Tobias on Dec.16, 2009 21 CommentsIt’s been almost exactly a year since I debuted Mille and presented you to his amazing ‘Crysteena’ on this blog (Mille Presents Crysteena). Back then, after just 3 seconds of hearing the intro lead I knew that this guy is indeed something special and that it wouldn’t be long til he gets struck by stardom. I was right, all of the major blogs, labels, tastemakers and producers including Russ Chimes who says - “I’m a big fan” knows who this guy is by now.
After only a year Mille has officially remixed Marina And the Diamonds, The Sound of Arrows and Edwin van Cleef and been signed to EMI publishing Scandinavia. When using the word stardom, i wasn’t exagerating. Big things to come from this c64 shredding treasure chest whos been hidden amongst the swedish concrete for too long.
The day has finally arrived when we can glance the debut release on the horizon. In form of a 12″ vinyl release of ‘Crysteena’ through Neon Gold, this baby holds a crisp new mastered version of the original along with B-side ‘Stargazers’ and remixes from Edwin van Cleef and Fear of Tigers. It is the most important release of 2010 and I’m proud I was a part of this, as the initiative to it and picking out the most suitable producers to remix it. Big thanks to all involved. Below is the digital promo remix from the one and only Justin Faust that presents his disco loungy take on this wonderful track, a really chill mellow combo. Simply, fist of the faust. With the sounds of space disco from Leeds in form of Edwin van Cleef and the original this should be more than enough to get you thirsting for a solid limited 12″.

A month ago my jaw literally dropped when I heard the Algeronics remix of the classic Daft Punk track ‘Digital Love’. I had to insta look up this dude and found out that he’s a young producer out of California who’d just released his debut EP ‘Me And You’ and that he’d been really busy remixing killer tracks out there. And I’m telling you watch out for Algeronics! Once you here a remix from him it’s easy to prefer it over the original, his ‘Digital Love’ remix is a good example of that. A big excitement is that his original tracks are just as classy, Algeronics mixes electro beats with disco flavours and wobbly ghetto basslines making his music a cross breed of big room electro club anthems and modern fidget/dubstep. ‘Me And You’ (that is making it’s premier on the blogs right here right now) is a beast of a dance track that seriously needs all of your attention. This is a 192 kbs version, so DJs go buy the EP in full quality as this is a fucking essential for your next gig!Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. I’m also presenting his brand new remix, a magnificent slow dance hands-in-the-air-sing-along kinda version of Pony Pony Run Runs ‘Hey You’, already a classic to me.

Buy the ‘Me And You’ EP on beatport, it contains three tracks that will make the floor boil. Hook him up on myspace, look forward to his second EP ‘Algeronimo’ coming out soon through Dirty Disco Tracks! Algeronics is without a doubt one of my favourite producers for 2010, expect this guy to blow up big!

Posted by Tobias on Dec.12, 2009 11 CommentsOur good mate Redial just sent me through his latest work. He remixed the golden ‘oldie’ ‘Walking On A Dream’ by Empire Of The Sun and this makeover is just amazing. It Truly deserve a place on this blog. It’s a bit laid back from his previous remixes but it still makes me wanna jump up and dance. Redial has been hammering the polls on The Hype Machine, hitting #1 with his remix of Somebody Told Me by The Killers and Top 20 with his song ‘Overdrive In E’ (thanks to deathelectro.com!). Redial will be destroying nightclubs all over Europe in March next year on his own tour. Once again, Redial has shown us that he can remix pretty much anything. He is a DJ to look out for in the future!
