Okey, what up with Sweden tonite? Is it on fire or what? Next in line to represent is Olle Dahlström better known as ODahl from Stockholm who’s giving a lesson in serious swirling synth disco! Great samplings, big bassline, filtered drops and beautifully crafted synthesizer action that made me insta-fall-in-love with this one. ODhal is preparing his EP dropping in the near future, and is giving away this track called ‘Hold Me’ for free, making the wait a little more bearable. I must say ODahl is just growing better and bigger and is really about to blow up. The only ones that didn’t do him justice by featuring him on the blog is US! Sorry ODahl, full support from here. Continuing on Swedish house (god isn’t swedish house just..the best?!) Claes Rosen is a guy from Stockholm I’ve dug deeper into the last few weeks. He came to my attention through his new release on space walker and I realised that this guy has been making some of the best house I’ve heard for far too long without me knowing it. My favorite japanese duo Capsule are back with their follow up album to ‘More! More! More!’ New album is called ‘PLAYER’ and I really enjoy it from beginning to end. Like always it’s a big blended mixture of styles, and that’s what I like about Yasutaka Nakatas productions, he’s a brilliant producer who pulls anything off. Player reaches across 10 tracks from synth, j-pop, electro, rap and funkyness to monster ass shakers. Favourite track is ‘The Music’, which I dropped last club night and damn, insane floor alert. An up tempo beat with really fat bassline and a lot of heavy drops packed up in it! Enjoy.

Wahlström & Valiant are two dudes from Malmö, Sweden that have roots in the bit pop, chip sounds and have been really active on youtube the past year, throwing up brilliant symphonies accompanied by seriously awesome videos. I really recommend you check their channel. Do not miss their Nintendo Entertainment System tribute, so damn awesome! Everything located here.

This time around the guys have started to produce more danceable stuff, their latest creation is called ‘Keep Up’. And man, I don’t know how to generalize but it’s a big track containing big house/techno flavored synth leads and pumping beat backed up by retro 8-bit sounds and I’m just loving it like the big retro video game nerd I am. Together with the video, this is something of the coolest I’ve experienced this year. Just love when I get emails containing stuff like this!
