I am the pope of dope! Atleast I wish I could be, if it’s as cool as this new collaboration track from the Party Harders and The Subs. Fat bass, fun lyrics and a catchy vocal hook. What more do you need?

Having slept through the Gorillaz hype not beeing a big fan and all suddenly I’m wide-a-fucking-wake when one of my favourite remix duos steps up and hands down makes one of the biggest tracks I’ve heard lately. Evil Nine drops some massive distorted piano leads and shakes things up with some insane cowbell action and the result is just sick. I played this one out this weekend and the effect was as expected, mad! Evil Nine’s just been nominated for my top 10 remix list of 2010.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. Swedish producer Databas is not new in the game, he’s been tearin’ it up left and right across this country rampaging clubs for quite some time now. Never have we had the chance to feature him here though, so when he sent me his latest remixes of Zombie Nation and Cartwall I felt the need to spread all this wonderful bass. Two really good hard hitting tracks to bring absolute ass shake, ready for the weekend. And just to point it out, Databas really knows his way with basslines! Think Benny Benassi meets Fake Blood meets swedish suburban concrete building. Enjoy guys.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Moda signed Fenech Soler released their new single ‘Stop and Stare’ and if you somehow missed it then well, you’re in for a treat. Just like last single ‘Lies’ what we’re looking at is a wonderful fresh peace of electronic pop music, Fenech Soler are at the top of their game and I’m excited about the full lenght album! Head honchos of Moda, Jaymo & Andy George wanted in on this one and their remix contains all the right elements to get the club going. Vocal clipping, piano builds, funky bass and mega drops! Such a huge tune! Enjoy it first on Dödselectro!Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. Savage Skulls are the emerging swedish duo consisting of Carli Löf and Måns Glaeser who’s already had releases on Diplos Mad Decent and Dubsided. We’ve never featured them on dödselectro before but their tracks haven’t gone us by. Just the other day I discovered a new remix of Swedish pop outfit Ola Joyce, who’s dropping his debut album ‘Happily Suppressed’ on may 5th. Savage Skulls remixed the song ‘Window Shopping’ and I couldn’t help but falling in love with this sick track. First of all, that Mega Man bass is just awesome, and the way the vocals have been played around with is just brilliant. It’s big and contains a lot of monster drops, making it an essential for the floors. I had to secure a download of this, and what do you know? Full quality mp3 here you go, enjoy!Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. Posted by Tobias on Apr.21, 2010 3 CommentsJust a few days ago, our man Hervé released his latest mix-cd Ghetto Bass 2 with whopping 34 tracks mixed down to two cd’s. As always with Hervé, it’s quality right from point A to B and we found a lot of tracks that we fell in love with instantly. On the mix a lot of Reset! tracks could be found, and since we haven’t featured them before we got ourselves a exclusive Hervé remix by them to share.
Even if we haven’t featured the Italian collective Reset! earlier on Deathelectro, we don’t really feel that an introduction is needed. They have already been featured on countless of other good blogs, their tracks have been played by all the big live acts whom they’ve also shared decks with. All you need to know is that these guys know how to produce floor shakers that damn right gets the party started, everytime. This remix is no exception, and we’ve secured an exclusive premiere for you all, enjoy!

Swedish singing italo queen Sally Shapiro accompanied by brilliant italo beats producer Johan Agebjörn are releasing their remix album of ‘My Guilty Pleasure’ today. And as they have such good taste, they’ve secured quality remixes from Boat Club, Bottin, Love Lock and dödselectro favourite FM Attack amongst others. Here’s the premiere of the FM Attack remix of ‘Looking At the Stars’ in 128 kbs. If you had’nt good summer vibes already, this track will guarantee it. Like a cool breeze of synth, filtered by the hot summery night.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. Posted by Tobias on Apr.16, 2010 5 CommentsOkay, I just found this now and cannot help that I feel obligated to spread the word of this. Apparently, Buffetlibre have gone together with Amnesty International to kill two birds with one stone in the most amazing way: The Peace Catalouge. It is a compilation of 180(!) new tracks by acts from all over the world like; The Toxic Avenger, Tesla Boy, Gooseflesh and way many more. All of the tracks are new originals and cannot be found elsewhere.
And the price for this gigantic release? Well, you decide! Either you are a cheap bastard and can get whole thing for €5, or you can pay up to €25 for it. All the money they make from this will go straight to Amnesity International’s investigation and action campaigns aimed at preventing cases of Human Rights abuses around the world. So the more you pay, the more you are helping Amnesity for their good cause and making this a better world.
Buy the whole thing here
(and yes, all tracks can previewed on the site)Give it up for Buffetlibre for their hard work and also for coming up with this splendid idea. Got me €25 less richer, but I’m damn proud of it!
