Turkish duo Gooseflesh currently residing over at Boxon have been cooking this fresh new project called Jackdied. Take the hard hitting distorted stuff from Gooseflesh, cut them samples up and make it funkier, get that disco groovin’, mix with epic keys, the driving beat and you have these fierce tracks called ‘Feel’, ‘Rhythm Is A Danger’ and ‘Night’. Tracks that surely will get all you disco peeps jumping in your pants while not leaving any of you electro kids unsatisfied! Just when summer is around the corner, the man who’s created all the perfect tracks for this time of the year have announced his return. Yes people, I’m talking about one of my favorite producers Anoraak.

With the mini-album Nightdrive With You and countless remixes he’s done in his bagage, he’s been doing shows all over the world spreading the most beautiful synth-disco known to mankind. And now two years later, it is finally time for him to release his full-length album. The album will be released August 30th 2010 via the label Naïve. And of course, Anoraak is kind enough to share one of his new tracks which is Above Your Head. Just my five cents of thought; Download it immediately and make sure it sticks with your soundtrack this summer!

Ahh, it feels good to be back from a good vacation. A lot of good food have been eaten and I have also managed to get a weird looking sun tan. Since I’m a musicoholic, I had to drag my iPod with me. In that I had the mix-album that made my whole vacation perfect: This is Burns - European Sex Music.

The release is a 2cd compilation mixed together by the man himself, which is divided into two mixes. Part one is a club-oriented mix (much like what you get when you see him live). And part two is what I would call a power-disco mix, best used for those roadtrips in the summer or maybe even for those good times you and your partner have in the bed. The possibilities are endless, but one thing is for certain: It’s a damn good mix-cd.
So to get you fully teased before it drops (which it does the 7th of June), we have permission to share his track So Many Nights which opens up the album.

German gorilla masked duo Saint Pauli sent over their latest remix of Sono track ‘What You Do’. With big techno leads building towards that fat distorted bass drop all topped with great vocals, this track gives that feeling of epic dancefloor euphoria.
