  • It goes without saying that the two brains behind BeatauCue have rocked my world lately. Every god damn remix that have been spread around the blogoshpere which carries their signature is like ice-cream in hot summertimes. It’s a shame we haven’t featured them before and that’s why I took the opportunity at hand as they remixed Florrie’s coming single Call 991. The way these guys work their vocal editing techniques is just stunning, and hearing the outcome melodies makes me drop my jaw. Enjoy the JBAG edit free of charge!

  • The smoothest duo on earth are back and it’s sexy as hell. Chromeo doesn’t want you to turn the lights on and once again show us who’s fucking king of the modern love song. I almost burst into tears when the funky beat reaches the solo breakdown, it’s like the guitars are in the room with me and the hot chick is right here under my sheets. Damn.. The track is taken from their forthcoming LP ‘Business Casual’, and you can buy it on Itunes.

  • Distorted Minimix series continues! When making this it was all about the twist and turn build up. Tracks are in different keys and not really mega mix friendly, but in the end I think it got the effect I wanted. Crank the volume up and fucking make some noise. Hope you enjoy.

(Volume levels turned out to be a little jumpy at times, too lazy to fix it. peace)

  • One day, not so long ago, I was stumbling around SoundCloud and played Mix Chopin’s “Levitate.” It’s good. It’s damn good. I played a few more songs and then played them all again. Mix Chopin is from Toronto, Canada. The man behind the act is Mick Match. His music is crisp and clean and always fun. So, let’s do it.

Here’s a few Mix Chopin tracks, including “Levitate,” which I hope you’re into as much as I am:

  • Hello! I’m Robbie. I started forming MTC a couple years ago, as you may know from the LBCK and La Zebra post that Niklas did just a few weeks ago. Anyway, from time to time, I’ll be writing about artists I’m enjoying and providing some of their music. I’ll be like everyone else on the blog hearing out your submissions via contact@deathelectro.com.

So, let’s get right to it. Lebatman is from Milano, Italy and is making wonderful, upbeat disco-house music. I first heard his rework of Daft Punk’s “Technologic” a while back, and couldn’t help but spread the love. “Funkit” is a beautiful production that will have you sweating in seven seconds flat. The bassline, the sample, the bongos, the synths — they all make me much too happy.

mp3 Daft Punk - Technologic (Lebatman Rework) (320 kbps)

Be sure to peep Lebatman’s SoundCloud for more goodies and, of course, like him on Facebook!

That’s it for now, folks. Plenty more groovy grooves to come soon. Cheers!

  • You seriously cannot complain about summertime’s! Besides being blessed mostly with perfect weather, it’s also the time of the year we are getting to see many great releases. And my fabulous heroes Dolby Anol are not only ready to release one EP during these times, but namely three EP’s! First to be out of these three is Visa Mastercard EP and will soon be available to buy on Beatport, Junodownload and other well sorted stores. But now you can already get a taste of how that EP will dominate the dance floors for a long long time. After a lot of “pleases” and doing things I rather won’t speak to the public about, I finally got permission to share the lead-track Visa Mastercard in low quality.

mp3 Dolby Anol - Visa Mastercard (128 kbps exclusive)

And if that’s not enough, Graham of Dolby Anol have also started his own blog called Witty Banter to write about the music he likes and also promote his own mixtapes. Here to share we got his latest mixtape for you to enjoy, a true nostalgic but at the same time a modern disco-journey. Tracklist can be found in comments!
