First off we’d just like to say apologies for the lack of freebies but the tracks are available from Beatport so please keep the industry alive and support the artists :) We believe this release wasn’t penned in until later in the year or we would have blogged it sooner but due to unconfirmed mishaps it was released prematurely (a big bonus for all us who have been waiting)

Deadbots are slowly working up a storm in the indie dance / club scene with a string of remixes both completed and upcoming for the likes of Arthur Baker, Hystereo, FCKN CREW,The Japanese Popstars, Humanzi, Meneo and OH SHIT, Emperor Machine and Ikki!

Their trademark sound references everything from 80`s synth pop to rock, disco and everything inbetween, all of which is evident on these tracks. With remixes by a plethora of excellent producers that include Alec Empire (of Atari Teenage Riot fame) and Tom Deluxx you can expect massive support by numerous imposing colleagues such as Digitalism, Hystereo, Arthur Baker and Hey Today.

Out now on the impressive Freakz Me Out label!

So show the ‘bots some love, support their release and rejoice in their awesomeness!!

Adam Tensta, probably one of Swedens most known hiphop-artist is back again. But since he’s still underground with the rest of the world, I thought it might be a good thing to change it. Especially when he is about to release his latest track “Young Black Boy” that combines dirty basslines, funky beats and good lyrics. I have always loved his music since he debuted with “My Cool“, but this track… Man, it blew me away!
Please press play and enjoy this one, it’s really a treat for your ears my fellow readers!

Do leave your holla’s at his myspace, and do please buy it at Itunes when it drops. Massive man I tell ya!

In anticipation of his Feel The Music EP, Luigi III, better known as la ZEBRA, has been working behind the scenes to collect remixes from top artists. While in pursuit of such talent, one shining star of the electro world stepped forward to proclaim his recent infatuation with la ZEBRA’s clever disco-house track, “Mind Tricks.” This man is none other than the German sex-god and DJ/Producer-extraordinaire, Justin Faust, whose very simplest synthesizer fiddlings are like beacons of light emanating from the open gates of Heaven. To put it in layman’s terms, Justin Faust’s music is like a threesome with a busty blonde and an Asian with pointy nipples, except on a cloud of whipped cream. Mmmm!

So here is the otherworldly original track from la ZEBRA, as well as its delicious counterpart courtesy of J. Faust. In all seriousness, these tracks will have you relaxing all over the place. What’s that? Clean up on aisle… my pants!

To celebrate the release of LexiconDon’s album this week, Binary Entertainment is giving away the amazing Bit Funk remix of “Student Body” for free in 320kbps today. Already receiving praise around the world, the remix is sure to become a summer dancefloor staple.

The LexiconDon album itself is more than just a collection of ten synth-pop gems from a Los Angeles based band. Two years in the making, it’s a snapshot of what life is like struggling in LA: from the plastic sheen of Hollywood, to the grit of Downtown, straight to the ocean. Casting themselves against current lo-fi trends, LexiconDon’s songs are full of crisp melodies, punchy drums, and lyrics worthy of paying attention to.

If you’re in Los Angeles this Friday, they’ll be playing a special set opening for Best Coast at Bardot. They’ll be following that show up with a performance at Dim Mak’s Tuesdays at Cinespace next Tuesday. Upcoming performances with Miami Horror and Neon Indian round out the near future for LexiconDon before heading up to Santa Barbara for the West Beach Festival, and then out to New York for CMJ in October.

A hearty hello and massive shout out to you all!! After the excellent write up we recieved earlier we’re very pleased to announce we will be writing for this awesome blog on occasion.

So here we have a couple of tracks from Kichen aka Daniel Moomey, one half of Deviant Soundsystem. Steering clear of the fidget his other other project is known for Daniel has instead turned his attention to a more indie dance sound with his own distinctive, distored hooks. The tracks are forthcoming on the Satan’s Circus label and are due for release in September. Anyway that’s enough nonsense from us, take a listen to the tracks, let us and Kichen know what you think and look forward to writing more reviews for you soon!

Finally, the first of the three videos for Russ Chimes coming Midnight Club EP is out. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do and do look forward to the coming videos for “Tertre Rouge” and “Targa” (video nr.2 coming 01.09.2010). And if you haven’t noticed, it’s the same director (Saman Keshavarz) and producer (Francis Pollara) that did the video for Cinnamon Chasers “Luv Deluxe”. All right, I’m gonna stop with the writing and let you focus on the video!
Thanks to Karol for the heads up, cheers!

I didn’t really expect to do this, since the mail I recieved about Posttod wasn’t all to convincing. But I thought “hey, why not check it?” and that was probably the best decision of the day. Posttod produce chilled electronica with synth pop influences, being a big fan of the genre I’ve been craving some fresh stuff for a long time. Their latest single Dead in the Universe comes packed with a stunning video that blew me away. I don’t know, but how could anyone say no to “robots” and “love”?
A free 128kpbs copy is available for you to download and the whole thing can be picked up at Itunes if you like what you hear. And of course there is a myspace to visit for more tracks.

Thank you Posttod for making my day!

Edit: Thanks to “Inlaw”, I came to know that the video was footage from Spike Jonze’s “I’m Here”. I have seen it now for myself and I do as well recommend it to everyone. Silly me that thought it was a original video for the track. But the track itself is still great for that!

I love when I hear tunes that blow me away, but even more when it’s from a producer who is fresh to the scene. And this did 5EYA do with his debut EP that I recieved information about earlier this day. And who is 5EYA who could have slipped out of our radar until the day before his debut is due to released? Well, I cannot answer how we missed him, but things do help when your mate is Phonat and are his partner in crime when DJ’ing. Anyway, the EP include three fantastic originals and two really good remixes by Sharooz and Tom Flynn and all of them can be heard below via the Soundcloud-player. As some might see in the player, a free 128kpbs of “Radiogame” is available for download for free. But just in case I will include an alternative link for those of you who don’t bother to read the write-up and are just after the free downloads. Knock yourself out and buy the EP tomorrow when it drops via Beatport.

If you really do dig this as much as I do, then do please at least make friends with him myspace, he haven’t got to many there and he deservs a whole lot more!
