Calling In Sick are two good guys from New South Wales Australia producing beats together, having a good time. Not only are they good guys, their remixes are top notch. Just heard this one on Bag Raiders ‘Fun Punch’ and I can’t believe it slipped me by. I’ve even been visiting their myspace a couple of times before. Either I’ve been too stressed out or the player on myspace has been bugging out like it always does for me. Sometimes I can’t listen to anything.

Anyway, these guys are all about quality productions. Don’t get me started, the distorted basslines, the filtered builds and the wonderful playful synths and sounds. I’m hyped on this.

I’m sure you heard Grum’s ‘Runaway’ and the remixes of it. I hadn’t heard Calling In Sick’s take on it until today (blame it on myspace bugs). No further presentation needed, it became an insta-favourite of mine. This time I friend requested these guys so I can keep track on them. I’m expecting big from Calling In Sick.
