This is a fantastic debut. Truly. 10 epic tracks with elements of electro, house, dubstep, glitch, hip-hop, and classical which, when done correctly (as Don Winsley has), makes for complete, sometimes maniacal madness. “Lets Begin” brings the album in strong, we’re thrown around the room with “Throne“, then we’re groovin’ hard with “You Move Me“. The eponymous track “Rise Of The Weasel King” has one of the coolest intros I’ve heard, and quickly drops into a triumphant dubby, electro banger. The album only continues to swell from there, until we get to “Rob“, perhaps the more chill, lovely say-goodbye outro.
