Fear of Tigers Remixes.

One of the guys who helped make Dödselectro into what it is today is Fear of Tigers, dude’s not a secret no more and you should be ashamed if you don’t know of him by now. He recently released his debut album ‘cossus snufsigalonica’ and if you’re with me you know that it’s one of the best albums of 2010. Grab it here if you haven’t, it’s free!Building bridges eventually makes all ends meet. Like this post right here, where we fit in parts of the family that has been essential to us in 2009. Besides Fear of Tigers we once again hear from Mille that doesn’t need an introduction by now. We all know he is fucking beast. His own blend of ‘Sirkka’ is a synth orgie on a space shuttle during lift off where the universe is the limit. French duo Human Contact makes a heroic return with their wonderful full frontal disco version of ‘Adventures of Pippi Longstrump’ that blew me away, it differs a lot from their recent nu-rave tech sounds and my respect for these guys just increased. Simply amazing. I’m also introducing yet a norweigan called The Clean Shaven Grins, who with his slow building 8 minute electronica experiment makes your mind wander some place beautiful. So much love given right here, make sure you pay them back.

Now, don’t hustle. Cause a rather epic remix from Mr. Tigers himself is about to make this christmas present complete. And fear not, cause this take on the almighty Visage (pictured above) song ‘Fade To Grey’ is about to take your synthesizer heart into space and beyond and leave you all warm and fuzzy inside. Once again Fear of Tigers reminds me of why he is one of my favourite producers. Amazing..

I met Ben from Fear of Tigers by chance in a bar earlier this year, he’d just come back from a kabbala session. Nice guy, if not a little odd!

why would you upload these to youtube when you can just download them here?(some people are soo desperate for views lol) Anyways nice post, could do without that spam though! When is the top 10 coming?
-
@rancho it’s the only way for me to listen to music at work, so that’s why I do it.

@ turdcheck anyone visiting this site can play the songs on the site by clicking the play button using flash just like youtube. What you are doing is essentially running your own blog parallel to dods taking the posts from dods and using them, then going back to dods to advertise your own blog which isn’t cool at all! Now what you do with songs you download from here is your business but please don’t come back here seeking attention its pretty lame. Now thank you(emphasis on this you) dods for the presents!

Rancho, it isn’t just that like. Youtube is a great audience with people who don’t follow the blogs at all. It’s a great way to reach out to new readers. That is of course if curbcheck gives a link back in the description of the video to direct em to the download. Many many people discover new songs on youtube. But you are right here, always link back and give cred. In this case, curbcheck did. So no harm feelings at all!
Top 10 post is coming today

the more exposure the better I think, what harm is there putting the songs on youtube when I give the big ups back to my good friends here. Plus i’m white walled at work, so I cant even come here to listen to the music. Youtube is fairgame though, so I figure why not let more people hear awesome music? There’s a bit of smugginess coming from you rancho and I think we all need to just step back and enjoy the music.
