Meet FM Attack, brand new producer from Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada . His name is Shawn and he makes the sweetest 80s disco house you’ve ever heard. It is by the book, don’t really know what I mean by that but. There’s no such thing as a book in case of music but. I’m just taken by his sound. There’s not a flaw and it’s so clean and fresh. Kinda like this picture, almost too clean and sharp.
There hasn’t been much fiddling around in his productions, he lets the basslines and the synths do the job. Creating really simple heartbreaking melodies with driving beats and sexy samplings. I’m letting the melody in ‘Take Me Away’ speak for itself. I’m blown away by it. This is the sound that lies between dreams and reality, the sound of the late night drive. The sound of the summer evening when two lovers meet.
‘Disco Attack’ is a more dance friendly club feel track, really groovin.
