This man from Gothenburg, Sweden is here to bring you all some quality summer remixes. I would say Fredrick has the typical swedish sound going on, in the sense of all the wonderful electronic indie bands based here. The feeling’s just there, I can’t explain it, it has that summery vibe all over it. It’s a mixture of Radio Dept. and Sincerely Yours made for the club, where the dance floor is a meadow.
Fredrick Carlsson is one in the row of the many great producers I’ve discovered in this country lately, and the thing that amazes me is the mixture of styles that just comes like a fresh breeze in a scene where stuff tend to sound a bit repetitive. I’ve got two tracks for you, remixes of ‘Ctrl+Alt+Del My Heart’ by Gothenburg based They Live By Night and a fresh-baked-out-of-the-oven ‘En Hand I Himlen’ by Stockholms Jonathan Johansson.
