Marc Rémillard + Jean-Tube & Awkoder 89.
-When I make my tracks, I got a lot of influences. It’s always related to what happens in my life. Feeling fresh was made when I got out of a week of hospitalization. I was feeling fresh! It’s that simple, lol.
Most of the time, music is in my head. I mean, everywhere I go, I’m thinking about a melody. I get back home and write it with my korg keyboard. My dad’s singing in a choir… I went to his show, they were singing the messiah of Handel. It inspired me and I wrote the track “Wonderful”.- Marc Rémillard.That _is_ what music is all about, it’s something you feel, you have a feeling, a story to tell. I Got an email the other day, from Marc Rémillard, a 19 year old producer from Quebec. He presented me with his new track ‘Feeling Fresh’. The eerie sound, the creeping build up. It feels good, the atmosphere makes me feel somewhat uncomfortable, but it’s so beautiful at the same time. It’s about feeling fresh,about recovery. But somewhere in there, I can picture the hospital bed, the food that reek of disease. Marc started his career in 2007 playing the guitar in progressive rock band Mentis. What I’m here to present though, is his electronic compositions. Besides working solo he also has a project going on with his friend Ahllex, this electronic duo is called Do It At Home. He’s not new to the scene, he’s been playing with midi controllers, been tearing Ableton Live apart in the past. 2009 Marc enters with his feeling, his story, and though it is newly hospitalized, it is fresh.

Anyhow, it’s not over yet, of course the french wants some.Theses guy were featured on Dödselectro when it began. Max and Adrien, known more as Jean-Tube and Awkoder 89 has two fresh remixes to sooth your ears. In fact they are so fresh, I just got Jean-Tubes baked and rendered from him on msn like 2 hours ago. Both of thems first official remix, and it sounds so god damn good. They are french, what can you do? Do me a favour and feel fresh. Damn… a lot of freshness in here.
