Last week we featured Ninetynine and his full-length “Interstate ’97” LP that blew our minds. If you missed it, check here. Today we’re back with his “Sweet Touch” EP which is simply fantastic, bringing back the glory days circa ’08 when new disco-house was set to take over the world.
The title track is an upbeat, straight up disco party with one of the coolest vocal samples I’ve heard in a bit. Mmmm… And when the beat drops in, there’s nothing like it. I’ll always love this kind of shit.
“Roll Out” is my favorite of all his tracks. It’s a more downtempo, almost tropical song that’s just beautiful. You’ll have to hear it for yourself.
