Our Top 10 Remixes of 2009.

There is no doubt, Le Matos made one hell of a remix here. The heaven descent vocals of Coeur De Pirate and the wonderful synth works of Canadas finest became an insta classic when I first heard it. This collab was meant to be and this remix will never grow old, pure gold and a well deserved 1st pick. I said it back then, and I’ll say it again, more Le Matos feat Coeur de Pirate PLEASE.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Russ Chimes turned Frankmusiks ‘Confusion Girl’ into a shimmering synth explosion with layers and layers of extasy. Who doesn’t love this seriously? A magnificent track and a killer in the clubs. Question still stands, why wasn’t this chosen to be released?Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. mp3 Frankmusik - Confusion Girl (Russ Chimes Remix)

Marina and the Diamonds said - “This is the best remix anyone has ever made for me” and I think we all agree, it’s simply off the hook! Swedish diamond Mille has shown everybody out there what he is capable of, debuting with his ‘Crysteena’ 12″ in january. 2010 is his year.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. mp3 Marina and the Diamonds - Mowglis Road (Mille Remix)

A really strong moment of 2009. Edwin van Cleefs remix of ProCons ‘Delia’. It’s a mindblowing outer space experience, the melancholic synth work, the driving pulsating bassline, vocoder heaven. Simply awesome, and a mystery to me only Valerie and Dödselectro posted this before. A random guy named Magnus commented on this last time I posted it saying - “OMFG! inject Delia Remix into my blood.” I couldn’t agree more.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
mp3 ProCon - Delia (Edwin Van Cleef Remix)

Grum has had a really busy year, throwing remixes out left and right. Heartbeats was released recently and things are really just looking up for this dude. One of his strongest moments in 2009 is definitly this Passion Pit remix. With stunning tekniques he brings the vocals to their peak accompanied by the typical grum bassline. The build and the drop makes this one of our weapons of choice this year.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
mp3 Passion Pit - To Kingdom Come (Grum Vocal Mix)

Diamond Cut came out of nowhere in 2009, hitting it big with a bunch of classy remixes. His interpretation of Cinnamon Chasers ‘I Like Watching You’ is a milestone in the art of sythesizer magic. This guy is truly a wizard at work and I’m really looking forward to what Diamond Cut will present in 2010.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. mp3 Cinnamon Chasers - I Like Watching You (Diamond Cut Remix)

Alex Metric is known to drop essential club tracks. Dj’s can’t live without him, the blogs love him and we.. well we could have picked any remix from this dude, as they all are top notch. Strongest one that really expresses the power of Alex Metric though is his Bloc Party remix. It contains some epic builds and drops and it will burn any roof out there. Just turn the volume up and let this baby loose.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
mp3 Bloc Party - One More Chance (Alex Metric Remix)

We’ve seen a lot of Bag Raiders remixes out there this year. There are many ace ones not to speak of the originals as well. This one right here though is right up our alley, the ‘Turbo Love’ remix from Light Year is a funky disco blast that has rocked our parties and our pants, but gotten too little attention on the webs. A Worthy selection.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
mp3 Bag Raiders - Turbo Love (Light Year Remix)

Californian Algeronics stunned us and the whole blog world out there with this UNOFFICIAL remix of Daft Punk’s ‘Digital Love’. I still find myself listening to it over and over just to discover how the hell this dude made a remix better than the original. Clearly though, it’s just brilliant and Algeronics got some mad skills!Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
mp3 Daft Punk - Digital Love (Algeronics Remix)

Picking a favourite Designer Drugs remix of the year is not easy, dudes are at the top of the game. When it comes down to it though, their remix of Annies ‘Anthonio’ is pretty damn epic. Fell in love from the first listen and we all here find it the strongest one released by these beasts in 2009. This could well be an original. A clean pick! To finish this list off.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. glad you all like. and andy I would have included the FOT remix of Crysteena if I could haha. Can’t post it yet though. As for the remix of into the clouds, i like it alot. It’s just that, space is limited and there are too many good remixes out there.
After all, I’m proud of these 10 we decided on.
