  • p e a c e FIRE.

Japan based p e a c e FIRE is finally making an appearance here on Dödselectro. I’ve been hooked on his tracks ‘Baghdad Rainbow’ and ‘Into The Freedom’ for some time now. There hasn’t been a reason for me to post about him since those tracks are not so fresh , they are not _that_ old but I started this blog kinda recently so that’s why.

Today Stefan (the dude who does the promo) sent me an email containing p e a c e FIRE’s first official remix saying this kind of music would fit perfectly on the blog. Indeed it does Stefan, thanks for giving me a reason to write about him! Now what is there to say? p e a c e FIRE’s productions are perfect, by far some of the sweetest 80’s synth melodies created. With the minimal beats and the basslines that are one of a kind. Really, listen to ‘Baghdad Rainbow’ and you’ll now what I mean, compressed and distorted to perfection.

This new remix I’m presenting is a fine piece of work of the track ‘The Year Of Magical Thinking’ by Switzerland duo Division Kent. And what can I say? It sounds like it was made in the 80’s, made to be played in a smoky neon lit club in Bladerunner. Same goes for the rest of his tracks, all that I love are compressed into to these magical melodies. I’m eagerly waiting for more. Indeed Stefan, these sounds defines Dödselectro, you know what you’re talking about.
Visit p e a c e FIRE and Division Kent and show some love. Also, say hello to Stefan.
