We Plants Are Happy Plants. A newly discovered gem of mine. Peter Bergmann awoke and evolved the genre that got me into electronic music. Acts like The Knife, Pluxus, Skanfrom, Múm and a bunch of european bands you probably never heard of. ‘Rise And Fall’ is a brand new track, and I can’t help to relate to my love for these melodic electronica sounds that started it all.
These beautiful nu-raveish soundscapes built around the most original melodies I’ve heard in a while brings back the memories of the past, still, it sounds so 2009. I’m talking about the end of the world, a fierce space flight and love at first sight. With a new dance feel We Plants Are Happy Plants is more and more becoming a favourite of mine.
