The Crashlanders.

If you’re swedish and lived the 80’s you might be familiar with all the synth pop bands that ruled this country back then. I’m talking Freestyle, Ratata and Noice among others. In case you don’t know what I’m talking about you should dig through your parents old records and cassettes, I promise you’re bound to find something. The Crashlanders from Malmö is everything the 80’s in Sweden was all about, slightly modernized but true to the wonderful feel. And the reason that got me sharing this with you all is their latest track ‘Samantha’ and it’s simply awesome.Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. mp3 The Crashlanders - Samantha
I find myself having the biggest smile across my face whenever I listen to this and I’m hoping it has the same effect on you. The Crashlanders would totally fit in valerie, cause they’re what it’s all about, it doesn’t get more real than this. Maybe the swedish would be an obstacle though, I’d love to hear some tracks with english vocals too. More songs and albums available at the Crashlanders myspace, pay them a visit and show them some love! This is brilliant.
